What You May Not Know About Your Prospects

I’m sure there is a lot you probably don’t know about your prospects but in this post we are going to talk about one in particular.

First things first. I have got to give credit where credit is due. This concept isn’t my own. By the way, who comes up with anything original anymore. That’s so last century.

Anyways, this concept comes from the great Ray Higdon while he was doing one of his “Free Coaching Friday” sessions. If you haven’t participated in one of those, I highly recommend it. They are super helpful, informative, and candid.

So, what is it that you may not know about your prospects?

Not all of your prospects are looking for more money.

Sounds funny doesn’t it. Just let it sink in for a minute. Are there really people out there who are not financially motivated? Yep. They’re few and far between but they’re out there.

As you are presenting your opportunity make sure you talk about the other benefits of Network Marketing as a whole and not JUST the financial reward to be gained.

I like to talk about the lives that can be changed with this opportunity and how owning and operating a home business can be the vehicle used to accomplish just that.

You can also highlight the extent of personal development that one can go through as they build their business. You’ve heard it said before that your business will never outgrow your personal development. It’s true.

So, how do you know if a person is not money motivated?

Ask the right questions. Find out what motivates them and talk about how your opportunity can fill a certain need or create solutions for any problems that may be having in their lives, besides money.

You see, It’s not about having more dollars in the bank but it is about creating time freedom. Using this prospecting mindset allows your opportunity to become more emotional and more real.
