3 Things I Would Do Differently If I Could Start My Business Over Again

As you’re working your business, it’s inevitable, you’re going to find some things that you wish you would have done differently in the beginning. That’s just the nature of life.

Hindsight is most definitely 20/20.

Today I want to share with you the 3 things I would have done differently if I started my business over again today.

1 – I would have done exactly what my leaders told me to do.

The leaders spent their time creating and developing a business building system. As soon as you sign up they’re going to try and teach you that system that is designed to make you the most money. Listen to them. Learn the system.

They gain financially when you succeed so why would you think they might teach you something that doesn’t work. We don’t. Take my word for it. Learn it.

2 – I would have put together a handful of occasions where I condensed my efforts over shorter periods of time.

All of the top earners in Network Marketing have done this at least once while building their empire. It takes the same amount of work to achieve your goals. Would you rather accomplish them in 2-5 years or 2-5 months?

Condensing your efforts over short periods of time helps create momentum, duplication, and an exciting atmosphere for your team to thrive.

3 – I would have practiced and perfected my cold market prospecting.

Early in my career I figured I could build my business solely with my warm market. Not true. If you aren’t willing to step outside your comfort zone and talk to someone you don’t know you won’t be successful in Network Marketing.

Unfortunately, it took me two years to implement that skill into my business. Learn the skill early and utilize it every day of your career. Your business will grow much faster that way. I can’t imagine where my business would be if I had been cold market prospecting my entire career.

The list could probably go on and on. That’s what makes us human. We make mistakes. The key is to change those habits once you realize their mistakes. Do you fix them and keep pushing or do you dig your heels in?
