The Boardroom of Your Business
Category : Home-Based Business
Have you ever had someone in your downline come to you complaining about how their team is not producing any results and that they’re lazy and don’t do anything and blah blah blah. It’s the same old story we’ve all heard a thousand times. Maybe you’re the one with that type of negative thought process.
Let me teach you a bit of a mindset shift about the boardroom of your business that you can apply to your own business and then teach it to your downline. This concept comes from the #4 or #5 income earner in my company but I thought it was just too good not to share it with you.
I want you to picture a huge skyscraper in the middle of the downtown area of a major city near where you live. Picture yourself on the top floor of that building in a massive conference room. The walls are simply windows where you can look out and see the whole city from where you are.
In the middle of the room is a huge table with a phone sitting on it. Surrounding the table are several rolling leather seats. Now think of this room as the boardroom of your Network Marketing business. You are at the head of that table.
Who are the people sitting in the seats surrounding your boardroom table?
What is their personality like?
Are they respected?
As the CEO of your business you are the only one who has the power to determine who is sitting in those seats. Who do you want to build your business with? Who do you want to help you lead, teach, and pour into your team?
You can build your business with whomever you want. You are the person who puts your leadership team together so therefore you are responsible for the results of your business, not them.
What kind of people do you want to build with? If they aren’t the type of people that you want to help you lead your team then don’t sponsor them. It’s just that simple.
However, the reverse is also true. Are you the type of person whom your sponsor or upline wants in the boardroom of their business?
In the video below I tell a story about the guy who taught me this concept. He had an unfortunate incident with a prospect which will teach you a very important lesson about choosing the right kinds of people for the boardroom of your business.
